A minor traffic accident on Thursday (12/5) at a gas station in Banská Bystrica, in which a 47-year-old Ford driver hit a VW Golf behind him while backing up, ended unexpectedly. The drunk driver went straight to the police cell. The Banská Bystrica regional police reported on the case on social media on Friday.
“The damage was not great, there are plenty of knock-offs. However, the driver of the Golf did not like the behavior of the Ford driver and called the police. Both were subjected to a breathalyzer test for alcohol. The driver of the Ford was measured at an incredible 3.5 per thousand,” the police said, adding that after sobering up, he will be charged with endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance.
