A woman has lost her life in a home accident declared on Friday night in the Granada municipality of Loja, according to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECEM 112).
After 9:30 p.m., a call for a fire in a home on Avenida de la Esperanza in Loja was answered on Emergency Telephone 112. It was a three-story house, although the fire was located on the ground floor, where smoke came out of the door and windows. Members of the Health Emergency Center 061, the Civil Guard and the Loja Fire Department traveled to the scene.
Firefighters have reported the death of a woman who was found in her bedroom. The fire occurred on the ground floor, where there was a large accumulation of belongings, and it burned completely.
The fire was completely extinguished by firefighters, while the rest of the home and adjacent buildings were affected by smoke.
