Aiming at UFC, Acre native will face Tajik athlete at MMA event in South Korea

On December 14th, Matheus Camilo, 24 years old, from Acre, will face the Tajik (Tajikistan) Nabotov Dorobshokh, at ‘Z-Fight Night’, in South Korea. This is the Acreian’s opportunity to get a contract with the UFC – the main MMA organization on the planet.

The two compete in the lightweight category up to 70.4 kg.

“Hey guys, this is Matheus Camilo, a professional MMA athlete. Passing by to call on all of you that I will be fighting on December 14th in South Korea, but now for a very big opportunity for our state. I will be fighting under a UFC contract,” Matheus Camilo told Rede Amazônica Acre.

Matheus has 8 wins and two defeats on his resume. The opponent has the same total number of victories on their record.

If he wins the competition, the Acre native could win a contract with the UFC.
