The four episodes will be available on Prime Video this Saturday and will be shown weekly on TVI, starting on the same day.
The fictional biographical miniseries, with a musical bias, has already had a trailer since November, “with a construction that combines the spectacularity of Tony Carreira’s great shows with his past”.
“Two timelines that help us build and unravel the lives and arcs of their characters. Two narrative lines that complement each other in a journey of overcoming life”, says the series’ introductory text.
The starring role was given to three actorswho will play the role of Tony Carreira in several different stages of his life: Gabriel Condebetween 6 and 10 years old, Duarte Estrelabetween 13 and 18 years old, and Carlos Felix between 23 and 30 years old.
The series, created by Miguel Simal and João Félix and directed by Carlos Dante, also features João Lagarto, Custódia Gallego, Cleia Almeida and Bárbara Lourenço, among others.

Tony Carreira, stage name of António Manuel Mateus Antunes, was born in 1963 in the municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra, in the district of Coimbra.
He began singing in France, for the Portuguese community, in a band formed with his brothers, Irmãos 5, and his ascension to the stage at the Casino Peninsular in Figueira da Foz, on March 5, 1988, was the moment that marked the beginning of his career. musical.
That year, after participating in the Figueira da Foz Song Festival, he released his first single, as a solo artist.
The singer’s first album, “Não vou vai de te amar”, was released in 1991.
Throughout his career, he recorded 28 albums, 20 of which were new, and four DVDs, which recorded, among others, shows at Olympia, in Paris, and at Altice Arena, in Lisbon.
In 2016 he was distinguished in France with the degree of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
