The change from the autumn offer to the winter one is the moment all Christmas coffee lovers are waiting for. During this period, Costa Coffee cafes are filled to the brim with caramel and spicy flavors and scents, including: Gingerbread Latte with the addition of gingerbread-flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream and a gingerbread cookie, and the bestseller Toffee Cake Latte and Toffee Cake Frappe, in which the dominant flavor of caramel cookies with the addition of whipped cream and colorful sprinkles. The winter offer is complemented by warming, aromatic Toffee Cake Hot Chocolate cookies with the dominant flavor of caramel.
The Festive campaign, which we introduce to the cafe at the beginning of November, is the inauguration of the winter offer that our guests wait for all year round. This is a special period for which we have been preparing for many months. When composing the winter menu, we start with the most awaited coffees, which is why in this year’s offer we focused on our bestsellers: Gingerbread Latte and Toffee Cake Latte – in hot and cold versions. As every year, our menu is rich in various types of warming drinks with the addition of turmeric, honey, cranberries and cinnamon. The dessert offer has been expanded to include completely new items, dominated by the flavors of praline and cinnamon, says Marta Stawiszyńska, Brand Management Director Costa Coffee at Lagardère Travel Retail in Poland. Along with the new menu, the decor of our cafes also changes, and like every year, we introduce Christmas cups and decorations – adds Stawiszyńska.
Costa Coffee’s Christmas offer includes not only coffees, but also warming drinks. There will be the favorite Spiced Apple Drink, an apple-spiced drink with the addition of cinnamon, anise and orange, which has been strongly associated with the Costa Coffee brand for years. The Costa Coffee menu has also been enriched with fruity, highly aromatic and warming Premium Tea with cranberries and apple with the addition of honey, cinnamon, cloves and orange, as well as two summer flavors in the autumn and winter version in the form of Hot Strawberry and Hot Blueberry Drink. A warming, perfect option for colder days will be Premium Tea with Ginger and Turmeric, which is a combination of black tea with honey, ginger, turmeric and lemon.
Dessert lovers can choose from a variety of options. This season’s favorites are the Cinnamon Cake, which is filled to the brim with cinnamon sticks and is based on a cheese filling on a shortcrust base, and the Praline Cake, which combines the sweetness of caramel and chocolate cream on a sponge cake with a crunchy filling. The whole thing is complemented by salted caramel topping and white chocolate balls. To feel the magic of Christmas even more, the café has returned to the cafe, beloved by guests, the Orange Cake decorated with orange peel and roasted almond flakes. The favorite of the autumn menu remains on offer – Cheesecake with forest fruits.
During the holiday season, the decor of cafes will also change, with Christmas decorations dominating. During the winter campaign, drinks will be served in specially designed Christmas cups, which guests will look forward to. Costa Coffee cafes will also offer whole cakes that can be ordered for home delivery or for holiday gatherings.
