Miro Jaroš once again pleased the fans and followed up the extremely successful Disko album with another studio album – Ešte večej Disko. A big surprise is the song Naša rodinje ne lik disco, which probably no one would have expected from him. According to Miro, this is a recession on his last year’s hit. “I recorded this song for everyone who prefers harder, guitar music. I wanted to try something new and have fun myself,” describes Jaroš. Rock, metal and punk are mentioned in the song.
Michal Žitňanský and his band Zoči Voči helped him with the new composition. He was very pleased with the cooperation. “I wrote the lyrics and we recorded it. That’s when I discovered how unnatural it is for me to scream while singing and I left the studio screaming and without a voice. Michal Žitňanský supported me with vocals, we recorded the children and I think it turned out great. It’s a completely different song than what my fans are used to, but I believe that they will forgive me for this flight and have fun with us,” he added.
Some fans fell in love with the news and were wondering if Miro would have more rock songs. “I don’t plan to. It’s not a comfortable position for me to scream like that, and to be satisfied, I would have to “roar” again. I was speechless for two days after this song. So I’ll do what I’m at home in. However, I must say that it was a great experience. I am delighted with the result and pleasantly surprised by the responses,” he admitted on the social network.
A video clip in which the king of children’s hits transformed into a rocker also saw the light of day, which had an unpleasant ending for him. Miro had to deal with a small problem. “I couldn’t wash off my makeup and black nail polish. The makeup artist had to leave. The coach says to me the next day: “You’re so pretty!”. As for the nails, I had to go to the nail studio. They took it off in one fell swoop and I struggled with one nail at home for an hour. I admire you women!” added the singer.
