The governor of the state of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), said that he regrets the stance he took when opposing the use of by public security agents in the state.
“The camera policy is a policy that I personally regret a lot about the reactive stance I had back there,” said the governor during an event on the challenges of public security in Brazil, promoted by the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research, where the Minister of Justice, Ricardo Lewandowski, the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court Gilmar Mendes and the State Secretary of Public Security, Guilherme Derrite, were also present.
