How to do it?

Remove the tray from the oven and move it to a place where it will have a firm and level support. Pour a little dishwashing liquid and hot water onto the tray. It is exclusively a preparation for washing the sheet metal, but already at this stage it will allow the dried and burnt-on dirt to dissolve a little. After a few minutes, carefully pour the water and dishwashing liquid out of the tray.

A good solution for cleaning the baking sheet, but also the walls of the oven, is to use steam. Preheat the oven to 90°C and then place a heatproof container filled with water in it for 30 minutes. The hot steam settles on the inner parts of the oven and softens the burnt-on dirt.

Pour an equal ratio of water and vinegar into a spray bottle. You can also use lemon juice as an alternative to vinegar. Spread the solution thoroughly and abundantly over the entire surface of the sheet and let it act like this for several minutes. After this time, scrub the surface with a sponge. Finally, rinse the mixture thoroughly under running water and dry the can with a paper towel.

Another way to help clean a baking sheet is to make a thick paste of baking soda and water. Apply this mixture to a sponge or toothbrush and scrub the oven thoroughly. Then rinse it thoroughly with water.
