The winner of one of the nine EuroMillions “Millionaire Shower” prizes spent almost two weeks without knowing that they had won one million euros.
The lucky person registered their winning ticket on Fandino Kioskin Moreira de Cónegos, Guimarães, for the draw held on November 22nd, where nine prizes worth one million euros were at stake in the call “Rain of Millionaires”.
But, only this Thursday, the winner found out that he won the prize, as the kiosk owner, Joaquim Fandino, tells the newspaper.
“When it’s ‘millionaire rain’, Santa Casa doesn’t tell you where the prize comes from, it only tells you how many came out in Portugal”, explains Joaquim Fandino. “If you had warned me, perhaps you would I hadn’t walked for 15 days with a million in my pocket without knowing“, he adds.
The owner of the kiosk also reveals to the same newspaper that the winner went to check out the Euromillions bulletins in another commercial space and that it was at that moment that discovered that “he had a million”.
The Fandino kiosk has been operating for 35 years and has already delivered several big awards, namely .
This is already the second “M1lhão” prize that was registered at the commercial location.
