Next, Trump accused Obama of having been unable to “honor his commitments” in Syria and leave the situation in the hands of Russia, “which is so involved in Ukraine that seems unable to stop this marchliterally speaking, through Syria, a country they have protected for years.”
Trump has reasoned that the opposition’s move to oust Assad and Russian forces in the country “is possibly the best thing that could happen” to Moscow. “Syria has never really been of much benefit to Russia.
