Munich – The German soccer record champions FC Bayern Munich have broken the billion-dollar barrier in terms of sales. At the annual general meeting on Sunday morning, President Herbert Hainer presented the club’s record of 1.017 billion euros. The deceased members around Franz Beckenbauer were also remembered. As a tribute to the icon, the number 5 on his shirt is no longer given out by Bayern.
