Real Madrid shook off their bad form and beat Girona 3-0 this Saturday (7), in La Liga, in the 16th round. The goal was scored by Bellingham, in the first half, and Guller and Mbappé expanded in the second half.
With the result, the Madrid club remains in second place in the competition, with 36 points, and closed the gap to the leader, Barcelona.

Girona x Real Madrid: how it was
Girona started the match better. With the lines advanced, the team managed to put pressure on Real Madrid in the opening minutes.
The panorama only changed with Jude Bellingham’s goal, in the 35th minute of the first half, from a rebound.
The home team still tried to threaten, but Real Madrid knew how to manage and went into the break with the advantage.
The second half started with a chance for Real. With a minute of the ball rolling, Mbappé drives it to the edge of the area, and finishes to the left of the goal.
After five minutes, it was Tchouaméni’s turn to head a great save from Gazzaniga, avoiding Real Madrid’s goal. Four minutes later, at nine, Güler extends the lead for the visitors, with a strong cross shot. Real Madrid leads 2-0 at Girona.

Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz, Girona coach, made changes to the team to make it more offensive, especially with the additions of Danjuma and Abel Ruiz.
Girona reacted in the 16th minute, with Asprilla recovering the ball, which made Courtois work. On the counterattack, Modric finds Mbappé, who kicks across the ball and makes it 3-0 for Real.
In the final minutes, Girona invested in Danjuma’s offensive. The attacker tried, but was unable to break through the Madrid block.
In the end, Real Madrid beat Girona 3-0, closing the gap on Barça and remaining firmly in the fight for the Spanish title.

The first goal was scored by Bellingham, in the first half, Brahim Díaz crossed inside the area, Gutiérrez tried to clear it, but Bellingham finished, with no chance of defense.
The second goal occurred at 18 minutes into the second half, with an individual play by Mbappé. He received it from Modric, took off and expanded for Real.
The third goal came from Güler, with a crossed shot.
