The President of France, , praised the people of France for the overthrow of the government of . On his account on X (formerly Twitter), Macron said that the “barbaric state has fallen” and wished peace, freedom and unity for the country. “I pay tribute to the Syrian people, to their courage, to their patience. In this moment of uncertainty, I send you my best wishes for peace, freedom and unity”, says the publication. “France will remain committed to the security of everyone in the Middle East.”
