Christmas is slowly but surely knocking on the door. Everyone likes something different on the most beautiful holidays of the year. Other traditions are even observed in households in different corners of Slovakia. Conductor Braňo Kostka revealed in an interview for STVR what he and actress Zdena Studenková do not celebrate Christmas without.
“It must be baked, cookies. The tree must be, the cabbage is nice. Visits to the family,” named one of the founders of the Fragile group. “And carp, I always have to have carp. I love that,” he added, what else must not be missing on the Christmas table. They spend the holidays with the legendary diva in the comfort of their own home.We don’t travel away for Christmas, we enjoy it at home.” he revealed.
A smile appeared on his face as he remembered how he spent Christmas as a child. “That’s such interesting stuff. One remembers intangibles, which is amazing. We had a slightly downhill road in front of the house. It just snowed, it froze beautifully and we were sliding on that road. That emotion will stay with me until I die,” Kostka confessed.
