Unbaked cakes
Creating a beautiful and tasty classic cake takes quite a bit of time and you need to have some pastry experience. If you’re a beginner, or you don’t have much time for a more complicated dessert at the moment, a no-bake cake is the ideal solution for you. Its biggest advantage is the easy and quick preparation and also the undemanding ingredients used. Everyone has most of them at home, so there is no need to spend a long time shopping.
A great advantage of unbaked cakes is their variability, as the basic recipe can be varied in various ways. A bonus is the fact that they are much lower in calories than classic baked cakes. The only thing you should count on for time reasons is the time the unbaked cake needs to harden in the fridge.
Ingredients needed
In order for your work to go smoothly, it is better to prepare all the raw materials first. You will need 500ml of whipping cream, 400g of sour cream, 150g of caster sugar, 500g of ground or crushed butter biscuits, 500g of frozen raspberries and 100ml of cold milk.
No-bake quick cake
Start by whipping your whipping cream until it’s properly thick. Then wipe the sour cream together with the sugar and mix this mixture into the whipped cream. Then add the given amount of crushed cookies and milk.
Mix all the ingredients, the result should be a soft cream. Finally add the raspberries and mix again. At this point, all you have to do is layer the mixture evenly in the cake tin and let it harden properly in the fridge. When you serve the cake on a plate, add a dollop of whipped cream.
Possible variations
If you are a fan of certain flavors, the recipe can be flavored with, for example, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, or nougat. It is also possible to replace raspberries with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, tangerines, peaches, or even grated sweet carrots. There are simply no limits to imagination and taste needs!
