Rebels opposing Bashar al-Assad’s government shared images on social media this Sunday (Dec 8, 2024) of a garage with a collection of luxury cars that belonged to the Syrian leader.
From the available images it is possible to identify models from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Rolls Royce and Lexus. The warehouse where the cars were parked would be in Damascus.

The whereabouts of Bashar al-Assad are still unknown. Russia reported this Sunday (Dec 8) that the now former Syrian president resigned from power and left the country after holding talks with “various parties to the armed conflict”.
