After fighting against relegation throughout Series A, Vitória ended the year without worries and with qualification for the Copa Sudamericana to celebrate. The 2-2 draw with Flamengo kept the red and black team in 11th place. The position in the table will generate revenue of R$20.7 million for the Bahian club.
This amount paid to the clubs is a division made based on what the broadcasting rights holder pays to the 16 clubs that remain in Series A. In other words, the amount is not a prize paid by the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation).
