State deputy Lucas Bove (PL), who is part of the Bolsonaro bench in the Legislative Assembly of , criticizes the governor (Republicans) for his change in attitude regarding cameras on military police uniforms.
“I think the governor is wrong, since the problem was never the equipment itself, but the way it is used to always affect the worker (police officer) instead of protecting those who protect us”, says Bove.
Last week, Tarcísio acknowledged that he was wrong to oppose the cameras, in the midst of a public security crisis caused by a succession of police incidents.
On the other hand, Bove says he supports the governor’s decision to keep the Secretary of Public Security in office.
“The governor is right to maintain it and has our full support. São Paulo has less than half the number of deaths resulting from police operations compared to Bahia, for example, which has a third of our number of inhabitants”, he states.
