Slovak President Peter Pellegrini on Tuesday at the end of his visit to Rome thanked the Pontifical Slovak Institute and the College of St. Cyril and Methodius for their help to all Slovaks, who visited him. He also promised to advocate for the government to find investments for its renovation.
“I will personally plead with the prime minister so that the government finds a way to use money from her reserve next year, when is the year significant because it is a Jubilee year and thousands of Slovak pilgrims will flock to Italy. So that we can perhaps take advantage of the jubilee and such a gesture on the part of the SR government that it has interested in taking care of such institutions as well,” said the president.
The Head of State ended his visit to Rome by visiting the Pontifical Slovak Institute and the College of St. Cyril and Methodius. He returns to Slovakia in the afternoon.
