The police caught two drivers within two days in the city of Šaštín-Stráže and the village of Sekule in the district of Senica. who drove despite the ban on driving motor vehicles and under the influence of drugs. Both cases are being investigated by the police in connection with the criminal offense of obstructing the execution of an official decision. The Trnava regional police reported about it on the social network.

On Sunday (December 8) shortly before lunch, the police decided to stop the car in the village of Sekule. The driver quickly stopped at one of the family houses, where took the passenger seat. “However, he eventually admitted to the police that he was driving the vehicle,” zoomed in.

After a negative breath test, the police subjected the driver to an indicative breath test for drugs – a drug test. “He tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine. Due to the positive result, he was invited to take a blood sample, to which he agreed. In addition, during the initial examination the presence of ecstasy was also not ruled out,” added the police. During the inspection, the patrol found that the driver was driving the car despite the legally imposed ban.

On Monday (December 9) the police stopped the car in the town of Šaštín-Stráže. In this case too, they used a drug test on the driver, which was positive. “It was the same drugs as the driver the day before. In order to determine the exact results of the amount of narcotic substances in the body, her blood was taken. The driver, like her ‘predecessor’, was prohibited from driving motor vehicles,” they added.
