A fire hit a unit of the Negreiros Supermercados chain, on the night of last Monday (9), on Avenida Ragueb Chohfi, in the Cidade Tiradentes neighborhood, east of São Paulo.
According to the Fire Department, the flames started around 6:30 pm and no one was injured. Images obtained by CNN show the moment of occurrence. Watch:
The company reported, in a statement posted on social media, that the fire occurred in the kitchen area of the unit.
O The supermarket also highlighted that “the fire was controlled without causing any major damage” and that “all safety protocols were followed to guarantee the integrity of our employees and customers.”
