Six starters are missing from Botafogo. Right-back Vitinho, with a knee injury, did not travel to Qatar. He will be replaced by Mateo Ponte – Rafael, who could be another alternative in the sector, retired after the Brazilian title.
Defender Bastos, recovering from a muscle injury, is with the delegation, but remains unfit to play. Adryelson remains on the team.
