Champion of the Libertadores da América in 2024, Botafogo will compete in the Intercontinental Cup this season – a tournament that replaces the Club World Cup. Glorioso is looking for the first world cup and debuts in the current format of the World Cup.

Botafogo requested FIFA to recognize three Small World Cup titles (1967, 1968 and 1970) as world titles, but was not granted.

This Wednesday (11/12), the Rio club faces Pachuca, from Mexico, looking for a place in the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Cup.
