The president of the Chamber of Deputies, (PP-AL), lamented the medical incident of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and said on Tuesday night (10) that he believes in the continuity of the political articulations that continue to be led by the ministers of the government. According to Lira, yesterday she complained of headaches and was no longer feeling well. The president of the Chamber met with the president shortly before the PT member went to the hospital to undergo tests.

“We are very sorry. President Lula was no longer feeling well, we were worried, he had headaches. We ask and pray that he will be restored soon, but I think the ministers are leading the process”, said Lira when asked if Lula’s situation would not harm the coordination made with the Chamber to process the government’s proposals. “I think this will have some kind of solution in the future, because the president is succeeding, he is communicating, he is speaking, there is no problem”, stated the president of the Chamber.

The president of the Senate, (PSD-MG), stated that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was “dejected” during the meeting that took place at Palácio do Planalto on Monday (9), at 5 pm. “I would like to register on behalf of the presidency of the Federal Senate of solidarity and wishes for a full recovery to the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who underwent surgery yesterday and is admitted to the Sírio hospital Lebanese in São Paulo”, said Pacheco this Tuesday (10), on the occasion of Lula’s hospitalization after an intracranial hemorrhage.

Pacheco began the session in the plenary with a demonstration of solidarity with Lula and continued: “On behalf of the Brazilian Parliament, especially the Federal Senate, I wish President Lula, with whom I met yesterday, the best of luck to his excellency.” Afterwards, Pacheco commented on the meeting at Planalto. “Many people asked me how the president was at our meeting yesterday, at 5 pm, at Palácio do Planalto,” he said.

Pacheco continued: “And I must say that, naturally, he was depressed, due to his state of health, but he received me in his office and said goodbye to me in his office with a smile on his face, which is an indication that, certainly , President Lula will soon be resuming his activities, for the good of Brazil, for the good of Brazilians”.
