Ingredients needed
Before you start preparing, lay out all the ingredients on hand. You will need 3 spoons of sugar, the same amount of oil, 1 raw egg, 5 spoons of milk, ½ bag of baking powder and 6 spoons of semi-coarse flour. Subsequently, fruit according to your options or taste and grease for wiping and a little flour for sprinkling the tray.
What fruit to use
Almost any kind of fruit can be used to prepare this cake, not only fresh, but also frozen or compote. Since it is a quick fix, the best choice is what you currently have at home and possibly needs to be processed. Apples or pears are a great choice, but plums, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cherries are also suitable, and oranges or pineapples are also interesting options.
Start small
You can use 1 tablespoon of butter, the same amount of granulated sugar and semi-coarse flour for the crumb. First, put the butter and sugar in a bowl and combine the two ingredients with your fingers into compact crumbs. The resulting mass should not completely stick together, but instead crumble into small crumbs or fluff.
You can also use another method of preparation, where you first melt the butter, pour it into a bowl with sugar and flour, and then mix everything carefully with a fork. Then let the crumb cool. If it seems a little crumbly, add a little flour to it.
Preparation procedure
Put all the loose ingredients listed in a bowl, then add the oil, milk and eggs. Then beat the dough with a mixer. Grease a round cake tin with butter, dust it properly with flour and then pour the prepared dough into it.
Layer the selected fruit evenly on it, sprinkle with crumbs and place in a preheated oven at 180 to 200 degrees and bake for approx. 20 minutes. The cake should have a crispy crumb surface and be slightly golden in color. After cooling, cut it and you can serve it with tea or coffee.
