São Paulo (Reuters) – CCR () won this Thursday (12) the auction of the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) for the concession of lot 3 of the Integrated Highway System of Paraná, with a discount of 26.6% on the basic toll rate, according to information from B3.
In addition to the winning group, EPR, Pátria and the 4UM/Opportunity consortium also participated in the competition. The auction moved to the outcry bidding stage with EPR, CCR and Pátria, which offered a discount of more than 20% on the initial proposal.
The lot covers 21 cities and is 570 kilometers long, comprising the federal highways BR-369, 373 and 376 in Paraná and the state highways PR-090, 170, 323 and 445. The contract is for 30 years.

The investment foreseen in the concession is around R$10 billion and includes improvements such as 133 kilometers of highway duplication, 25 kilometers of additional lanes and 62 kilometers for the implementation of bypasses.
CCR won a few days after losing the dispute over the “Nova Raposo” project, already operated by the company in the State of São Paulo, to rival Ecorodovias.
But the company’s victory this Thursday represents the second highway concession won by CCR this year. At the end of October, the company won the Rota Sorocabana, also in São Paulo, with an offer of 1.601 billion reais in grant, committing to an investment of 8.8 billion reais over the 30-year contract.
