Czech singer Anna Julia Slováčková’s life changed radically five years agowhen she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent demanding treatment and she won over the insidious disease. However, the joy did not last long. She talked about her current state of health in the podcast.
Daughter of the well-known musician Felix Slováček and presenter Dáda Patrasová she has to face mortality again, as it was hers this time diagnosed with lung cancer. Anna tries to continue singing, traveling and doing all the activities she loves, but sometimes she succumbs to worries and fears. The doctors should have told her that she had a limited time left. “When someone tells you that your time here is limited, it will stress you out,” said Slováčková.
“A few days ago I she wrote to her two best friends that I’m afraid I’m going to die. I’m really starting to fear that, and not what will happen after that death. I’m more or less reconciled to death, but I’m terribly afraid of it before, right? I will not be able to take care of myself and I will be dependent on the help of others,” admitted the artist, who is very worried about her future.
These days, he is under the care of doctors at the Clinic of Palliative Medicine, since without palliative chemotherapy, she would likely have only a few months left. “I wish I was here for another fifty years. But if I’m here for another year and a half, which I’ll survive more than the entire 29 years of my life so far, I’ll be very grateful for that, that at least it happened to me,” confided a brave beauty who will fight for her life until the last minute.
