SIC and Cristina Ferreira announced that they had reached “a mutual agreement” within the scope of the dispute over the way in which the television presenter left the channel to return to TVI.
The agreement was “reached after constructive negotiations” and “puts an end to the existing dispute between the parties”, advance SIC, and the presenter’s company, Amor Ponto, in a statement.
“Both sides express satisfaction with the resolution found”, they also point out without revealing the amounts involved in the agreement.
With this agreement, the accounts and assets of Cristina Ferreira’s company are no longer .
This understanding comes after the Judicial Court of the District of Lisbon West ordered the execution of Amor Ponto’s assets in a value of up to 4.7 million euros.
Decision that came after the company was condemned by the Court of Sintra to pay more than 3.3 million euros to SIC with the channel. The presenter appealed the decision.
