Manchester/Munich – The SKN St. Pölten footballers missed out on winning their first point in the Women’s Champions League. In the penultimate group game on Thursday, coach Liese Brancao’s weakened team suffered a deserved defeat 0-2 (0-0) against top English club Manchester City after a long fight. After the 5th round, the Lower Austrians are still bottom of the table in Group D, while the English women celebrated their fifth victory.
