Claro has a new president and creates an advisory board in Brazil

Claro – a company belonging to the Mexican group América Móvil – promoted a change of chairs in part of its command in Brazil and the creation of an advisory board for activities in the country. The executive Rodrigo Marques He will be the new president of Claro, being responsible for the areas of consumption, small and medium-sized companies, strategy and management, and engineering and technology.

He has been with the company since 2004, where he worked in financial planning and, in 2015, assumed the strategic vice-presidency and operational management of the business in Brazil.

Marques will report directly to José Félix, who is the general president of Claro Brasil and has direct supervision over the areas of finance, legal, purchasing, human resources, internal, institutional communication, auditing, risks and large companies.

The company also announced the creation of a local advisory board, which will be made up of seven members. They are: Daniel Hajj Slim (president of the board), José Félix, Paulo Cesar Teixeira, Oscar Von Hauske, Alejandro Cantú, Rafael Couttolenc and Carlos Garcia Moreno.

Executive Paulo César Teixeira, replaced by Marques, will join this board.

The changes will take effect from January 1st.
