The Institutional Relations Secretariat announced that it had completed the “total processing” of R$ 7.661 billion from parliamentarians by this Friday (13). According to the ministry, the resources will be available in the accounts of city halls and benefiting entities until Monday (16). The text opened a deadline of December 31st for beneficiaries of the “Pix amendments” to present work plans for the execution of the resources, in the case of releases from December 3rd, 2024. Without registration, payment will be suspended. In the case of special committed transfers, execution may be before the plans are submitted.
Individual amendments are those to which all deputies and senators are individually entitled. Those on the bench have their fate defined by the state benches. “Pix amendments” are a way of transferring resources directly to the benefiting city hall, without linking the funds to a specific project.
