A subject that comes and goes on social media, the existence of a look-alike who would act in the place of the PT member (who would be dead, according to this conspiracy theory), came back with force — one of the posts was viewed more than 89 thousand times on X until 13 of December.
Also on the network, users shared an image showing a request to issue a death certificate in Lula’s name, in a system that would be from Sírio-Libanês. Another post uses a simulation from the G1 website with the title: “Urgent: Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Republic, dies at age 79.”
Among the false publications about the president’s health, there are also images generated by artificial intelligence and a post saying that his wife, who died in 2017, had reunited with him in November 2022, right after the presidential elections, or now, in December 2024.
In a statement released this Friday (13), Sírio-Libanês stated that Lula remains hospitalized under semi-intensive care. “He remains lucid and oriented, ate normally and walked through the corridors”, says the note.
A Sheet contacted the federal government’s Communications Secretariat, which classified the contents as false and unfounded. According to the ministry, the president’s expected discharge is for the beginning of next week.
