PSOL will ask the Ministry of Defense to abolish the “black kids”

The PSOL bench in the Chamber will send a letter to the Ministry of Defense, asking for the extinction of the Army Special Forces battalion, the soldiers known as “black kids”. Parliamentarians also intend to submit an information request to obtain details on the functioning and activities of the special battalions.

“Black Kids” is the name given to military personnel who graduated from the Brazilian Army’s Special Operations Course, trained to perform secret missions in hostile and politically sensitive environments. They are part of the so-called “elite” of the Armed Forces.
