Unigel Participações SA, together with some of its subsidiaries, informed that it has extended the deadline until December 23, 2024 for covered creditors to indicate their option to join the extrajudicial recovery plans.
“Creditors who choose to grant new resources will have until December 27, 2024 to make the resources available in the accounts indicated in the option form”, adds the company, in a statement sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
The extrajudicial recovery plans were presented on February 20, 2024, as amended, before the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of the District of São Paulo, State of São Paulo.
O Broadcast reported that Unigel’s extrajudicial recovery plan was approved in November by the Brazilian Court, following a decision by judge Paulo Furtado de Oliveira Filho, from the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of the District of São Paulo. The agreement gives creditors the possibility of acquiring a 50% stake in the company. Debts are around R$4 billion.
