A freely accessible area at the Mercado dos Colonos, in the center of Rio Branco, suddenly collapsed this Sunday morning (15), leaving the space partially destroyed.

According to information, people who were at the scene were asked to leave as quickly as possible. So far, the reason for what happened has not been highlighted, nor whether there are holidays.
The area close to the Acre River is experiencing immense erosion problems, and caused the closure of the Calçadão do Novo Mercado Velho, after large cracks compromised establishments, as well as the Joaquim Macêdo Passarela, also in the same region, which was closed for the same reason. .
