Fernanda discovered triathlon in the 1980s and helped to spread it in Brazil. It didn’t take long for him to also participate in the Ironman circuit, a race that starts with a 3.8 km swim, goes on to 180 km of cycling and ends with a 42 km run.

World record holder for podiums at the Ironman in Hawaii, five-times champion of Ironman Brazil and six-times champion of the Brazil trophy, Fernanda is considered a legend of the sport.
