Preparing Scandinavian coffee with eggs is not complicated. To make it, you only need 2-3 tablespoons of ground coffee, 1 fresh egg, 2 cups of water and optional sugar. Also take out a glass, a pot and a fine strainer from the kitchen cabinet.

Pour water (1 cup) into the pot and bring it to a boil. Meanwhile, in another vessel, e.g. a glass, thoroughly mix the raw egg (white and yolk) with ground coffee. Add the mixture to the boiling water and leave to simmer for 5-6 minutes, stirring every few moments.

Then add a second glass of water and cook for another 3-4 minutes. After this time, strain the coffee through a strainer. The drink should be sweet enough, but if you want, you can also add sugar to taste.
