Today, the 15th, the founder of the Daime Doctrine, Master Irineu Serra, turns 134 years old on a spiritual level. Traditional communities pay homage to him by singing the hymnal: the Cruzeiro Universal, which tells his story and the meanings of the widespread spiritual school.

In memory, everyone wears the official uniform of their doctrine, takes Daime and, standing in front of Cruzeiro, prays, sings, cheers and dances in the presence of supreme spiritual entities who watch the work. The hymnal is one of the rites that Irineu Serra implemented in 1935, with instructions from the Queen of the Forest in praise of Jesus Christ the Redeemer, the Virgin Mary and the Divine Eternal Father.
The belief that God is one God in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit is one of the greatest teachings preached by Irineu Serra. According to his Doctrine, we are on earth by a commandment from God, “I am the son of the Virgin Mother, there in heaven, Jesus Christ the Redeemer”, he reveals.
The conduct of the three persons of the Holy Trinity is what Mestre Irineu preaches as “divine memory”. He invites us to be children of God and brothers of Jesus Christ.
The life and trajectory of Raimundo Irineu Serra is characterized by the publication of eternal love. The knowledge of the power and holy light of the true God. This light is radiated by the Daime that he met with the Indians in the 1930s when he abandoned the traditions of his homeland, São Vicente de Ferret, in Maranhão and delved into the Peruvian Amazon jungle. From ayahuasca to Daime, Irineu Serra recodes the ancient learning that came from the Incas, teaching that the power belongs to the forest “for God to love”.
In eight decades, the master records a philosophical journey towards encountering what is sacred, responding to divine calls. Choose the forest as the channel of communication with the astral plane and call for this harmony: the sun, the moon, the stars, the earth, the wind, the sea, the light of the firmament. “It’s just who I should love”, he teaches us.
“In the power of the true God, we must have love”, adds the great philosopher, “in the stars of the firmament and in everything that God created”, he adds.
We are facing a spiritual pedagogical vocation for transmitting knowledge encoded by nature, primary literature of what is sacred. The forest being the center of education. Hence the importance today of transmitting this knowledge to the world.
This being who was born on December 15, 1890 and who stands before us in the form of brilliant fine stones, of light, refinements and knowledge, brought as a philosopher’s stone, as a perfect prism, a cosmology and a cosmogony worthy of being studied.
Since yesterday, the 14th, his tomb, located in Alto Santo, in Rio Branco, has received visits from faithful, supporters and admirers from several Brazilian states and abroad. Researchers and anthropologists express interest in studying the effects of using Daime in ritualistic contexts. In the United States, groups that worship the sacred drink learn to speak Portuguese to sing the Cruzeiro hymnbook in its original version.
Profiled in this battalion like the soles of Mary, we experience the plenary expansion of “I Am” Raimundo Irineu Serra. The great challenge is to maintain the divine memory taught by him, Master Irineu as a science and the Daime as an authentic path to the improvement of human character and spiritual salvation.
