For the functioning and stability of the coalition, the coalition agreement must first of all be respected. This follows from the statements of the leader of Hlas-SD and the Minister of the Interior, Matúš Šutaj Eštok, in the STVR O 5 minut 12 discussion show. He added that if the coalition partner does not respect it, he gives instructions to other members of the coalition.

The election of the speaker of the parliament will also contribute to stability, according to him it is up to the head of the SNS Andrej Danko, he wants to reach an agreement by the end of the year. Šutaj Eštok does not want to be the chairman of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, he continues to propose the vice-chairman of Hlasa-SD Richard Raši in this position. KDH head Milan Majerský says that the government coalition is slowly disintegrating. Šutaj Eštok described the topic of official government as nonsense.

“Without respecting the coalition agreement, let’s not expect stability,” declared the head of Hlasu-SD, saying that the coalition stands and falls on the agreement. According to him, Hlas-SD deputies must also have a guarantee from the coalition partners that this government has no alternative, and not behave as if it had one. “The government coalition is subject to slow disintegration, everyone is arguing with everyone,Majerský responded, saying that KDH is an alternative that could come after this government.

Šutaj Eštok does not like it when Hlas-SD MPs do not respect the coalition agreement, but Danko gives them instructions by not respecting it either, for example during the election of the chairman of the NR SR. According to him, if they solve the head of the parliament, all deputies will realize that they must respect the coalition agreement. “If the coalition is to last another three years, it needs to have 79 MPs,” he emphasized.

Šutaj Eštok remains in the position of chairman of Hlas-SD and minister of the interior. It is justified by the need to address a number of security risks. Majerský cannot imagine that KDH would support Raši. “We will discuss our issues within our party and the coalition,” replied Šutaj Eštok to the question of whether Hlasu-SD MP Samuel Migaľ could be the head of the party. According to Šutaj Eštok, Danko was seduced by the opposition’s games. “It’s absolute nonsense,” he said to the words of the head of the SNS about the official government.

Majerský is surprised that Danko remembers KDH and asks for his support when the coalition does not have a majority. “Don’t send me messages through the media that we don’t want to support sports,” he stated. He declared that the KDH would not support the government if it did not have a majority in parliament.
