The federal deputy (PL-MG) posted a video on social media in which he suggested that a project by the former senator (MDB), now a minister in the government (PT), was his own.
The 2021 project was approved in a symbolic vote by deputies. Nikolas was the rapporteur in the Chamber plenary.
Tebet’s original proposal determines that computer equipment, cell phones or similar items seized in crime-fighting operations should be primarily allocated to bodies and entities in the public basic education network.
Nikolas changed the project to include that this will occur if there is no interest or need from the agencies to use them. As there were changes, the text returns to the Senate.
On the social network, Nikolas posted the phrase: “Another project approved! Now the computer equipment, cell phones and similar items seized by the police authorities can be sent to schools! Crime loses, education wins.”
The deputy begins by saying: “Approving another project here.”
“Very happy with this and we have our second project approved today and tomorrow there are more projects in the education committee too”, he states, in another excerpt.
The Panel sought contact with the deputy, but to no avail.
