How are the conversations between Botafogo and Santos regarding the exchange?
According to the website “Diário do Peixe”, Botafogo’s idea is to pay nine million euros (around R$56.6 million) plus midfielder Danilo Barbosa and striker Tiquinho Soares for the signing of defender Jair, the jewel of Santos’ academy. and starter for most of last season.
The Santos board has not yet responded to Botafogo’s offer, which should happen in the next few days.
What proposals did Santos already have for Jair?
Jair, 19 years old, has been the target of some European clubs this season. The first proposal came from Porto, which offered 15 million euros (R$95 million) and the permanent stay of striker Wendel, on loan until June 2025, which would give another around 3 million euros (R$19 million).
