The hockey expert is raising a daughter Viktória together with his wife Lucka, but in February 2025 their family will grow by another member. They can’t wait for the boy. The athlete revealed how they are doing with choosing a name.
The question is whether his longtime friend and co-host of the podcast Marián Gáborík is persuading him to name his son after him. Their friendship is known for the fact that they often play pranks on each other and do not give each other anything. “He doesn’t tease at all and he probably knows why, since he has two daughters and he doesn’t know how to handle boys” the former NHL defenseman said with a laugh.
He did not rule out that he will have a little namesake. “And what will it be called? We don’t have a name chosen yet, but it has already been decided whether it will be Boris junior. I’m not yet completely convinced that I will call my son Borko, as they called me, but it could happen. The important thing is that the pregnancy is fine and that everything goes well. My wife and I can’t wait.” concluded Valábik.
