Businessman and former coach showed images arriving by helicopter at the São Paulo broadcaster to test as a presenter

Former candidate for mayor of São Paulo by PRTB, the businessman and digital influencer published on Saturday (Dec 14, 2024) a video in which he appears during the recordings of a program on SBT. The images show the former coach arriving at the station’s headquarters, in Osasco (SP), by helicopter, to test as a presenter.

Marçal also interacts with employees of the SBT. In the publication, he jokes: “First day of CLT here at SBT”.

According to the newspaper Folha de S. PauloPablo Marçal, do SBT. The relaunch is scheduled for March 2025.

The choice of the former candidate to command the attraction is also aligned with the strategy of Mauro Lissoni, Programming and Artistic Director of the SBTsince October. Lissoni believes that Marçal has the potential to revitalize the station’s afternoon audience.

The program Family Cases will be broadcast at 4pm, before the It’s timeprogram led by (PSDB). The presenter and Pablo Marçal have a history of disagreements since the race for mayor of São Paulo, when Datena, the former coach with a “chair”during a debate at TV Cultura.

If negotiations are concluded successfully, the contract is expected to be formalized in 2024, with the debut scheduled for March 2025, right after Carnival. The relaunch of the program is one of SBT’s bets to renew its programming schedule next year.

Created in 2004, the program Family Cases presented everyday conflicts between family members, neighbors and co-workers. Participants shared their stories in front of the audience, who interacted with questions and comments, under the supervision of psychology professionals. The attraction closed in 2023.
