The play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”which is currently on display at Broadwayin New York, will arrive in Brazil in 2025. This will be the experience’s first time in Latin America and the official dates have not yet been revealed.
Written by Jack Thornethe play is one that has captivated generations. Its script explores the challenges of a new generation of wizards and an epic confrontation that mixes the past and the future, with innovative illusionistic and magical effects that will surprise the audience.
In total, more than 11 million tickets have already been sold for the first story in the saga to be presented on stage. Since its debut in 2016, productions have been created in different parts of the world and are currently playing in London, New York, Hamburg, Tokyo and a North American tour launched in 2024 in Chicago.
Recognized as the most awarded new play in theater history, the show won 24 awards in the United Kingdom and 25 in the United States, including six, including Best Play.
