I wipe my car windows with it. I finally stopped having problems with steamy windows
In autumn and winter, moisture evaporation and condensation on the windows is quite a common problem. Sometimes it results from incorrect use of the car’s air vents, and sometimes it is a natural phenomenon related to the weather. Fogged car windows can be dangerous and severely limit visibility. It is worth knowing that in Poland, driving with a fogged windshield may result in a fine. Moisture collecting on car windows can be caused by wet clothes and poor ventilation. In winter, even regular conversations in the car can cause the windows to fog up. The easiest way to eliminate it is to properly use the air vents in your car. Preparing the windows to prevent moisture from accumulating on them can be equally effective. All you need to do is wipe your car windows once a month with a cloth soaked in regular shaving foam. It will create a protective layer on the windows that prevents moisture from accumulating. A small amount of glycerin will give a similar effect.
What to do to prevent your car windows from fogging up?
If you often struggle with problems in your car, it is worth checking whether you are doing everything correctly. In the winter season, it is worth replacing fabric mats with rubber ones. They will collect less water and will not evaporate. If possible, you can leave the windows open at night to ensure adequate air circulation. If your car windows are fogged up in the morning, set the airflow to the front and rear windows. This way you will defog your windows quickly. If you have a car without air conditioning, turn on the warm air and open the window. This will ensure good air circulation and moisture will not collect on the windows.
