The Vitória Deliberative Council will meet on Monday night (16) to vote on the budget proposal for 2025. The projection is R$288 million net and R$244 million gross. The meeting will be held at Barradão, with first call at 6pm.

During a press conference held last week, the club’s president, Fábio Mota, explained the budget proposal, in addition to highlighting that the expected values are variable.

“We put together our budget and sent it to the Deliberative Council. The budget does not mean that this is the money that Vitória will have. Budget is a forecast. So calm down. The budget includes awards, a lot of variable things. We will use the value of the Pound to pay salaries. Within the budget, we also have the stages we intend to reach in each competition. It’s a very safe budget. We could even project a higher value, but it is better to project a lower value and guarantee it”, he explained.

The meeting aims to learn about the management plan and vote on the budget proposal for the 2025 financial year. Within the R$ 288 million, more than half is expected to be raised through participation in competitions held next season: Campeonato Baiano, Copa do Nordeste , Brazilian Cup, Brazilian and South American Championships. Leão aims for R$128.4 million from image rights.

The red-black team also plans to raise R$43.9 million through the fan partner program; R$29.2 million from sponsorships; R$25 million in athlete sales; R$16 million in gaming revenue; R$6.5 million in equity revenue; R$3.6 million in royalties; R$851 thousand with Academia do Leão; R$99 thousand with TV Vitória; and R$1.95 million from other income related to boxes and donations.

Furthermore, Vitória sets a target of R$26.8 million in competition prizes in 2025. The club aims to reach the state and Nordestão finals, as well as the fourth phase in the Copa do Brasil, 16th place in the Brasileirão and first South American phase.

“If everything goes well and the work continues, we will achieve all the values. We project R$25 million for the sale of athletes, which is a very conservative value. We will wait for the approval of the budget to announce the hiring. We hope that the budget will be approved”, concluded the president.
