UN launches tender for university work – 12/17/2024 – Panel

Unops, the UN office specializing in infrastructure, published this Wednesday (11) the international bidding notice for hiring the company responsible for completing the works on the new Campus Arandu at Unila (Federal University of Latin American Integration), in ( PR).

The cost is estimated at up to R$600 million and will be covered by , according to a cooperation agreement last year.

The original project for the new Unila campus, created by architect Oscar Niemeyer, who died in 2012, consists of six buildings in total, but, for now, the bidding notice will only include the completion of buildings that had already been started and finished .

This includes the university restaurant, the administration building, the classroom block, the utilities center, the marquees and walkway and the access roads to the new Campus. The buildings are expected to be delivered in a phased manner between 2026 and 2028.
