Shortly after the ceremony held this Tuesday (17) in Doha, Qatar, where the Brazilian received the honor, FIFA released all the votes won by those nominated for the award. The Best has four juries: captains of the national teams, coaches of the national teams, journalists from each country affiliated with the entity and fans around the world.
The number 7 for Real Madrid and the Brazilian team scored a total of 48 points. Rodri, midfielder for Manchester City and the Spanish national team, came second, with 43. Englishman Jude Bellingham, also from Real Madrid, closed the podium, with 37.
In FIFA’s system for reaching grades, Vinicius Junior was the captains’ favorite, with 617 points. Spaniard Rodri scored 373 points in this audience. The Brazilian also had a wide advantage among the fans who participated in the vote. He scored 1,147,276 points, compared to 264,835 for the City athlete.
