The camp in front of the Aleac) Legislative Assembly has been going on for almost a month. With around 25 days of duration, the campers still have no news about what will happen.

The families were removed from an occupied area in the São Francisco neighborhood, in the capital of the state of Acre. Caroline Araújo, 24 years old, is one of the people camped in front of Aleac.

“They said they will advance our side, we who are here now, but we have to wait and see what they will do. At the moment there is no money, there is no funding for us to leave, we have nowhere to go”, says the young man.
