“Request and validate invoices”
The first (and old) recommendation is, straight away, always ask for invoices with CPF (CPF) and see the items that are not yet exhausted.
Magda Canas warns that invoices Health, Education, Housing and Homes are “the most valuable“.
For invoices to count, they must be requested by December 31st. Don’t forget, after the validate. For this there is until February 15th – JN alert.
“Subscribe to a PPR”

“Anticipate consumption”
If you have an expense planned for next year, you can think about bringing it forward if you have not yet reached the deduction limit in that category.
“Managing capital gains”
As for the category G income (capital gains, which include sales of open-ended investment funds, bonds, national and foreign shares and the redemption of participation units in foreign investment funds), as suggested by JN, it may be useful to sell them at a loss to reduce the amount payable to the IRS.
Advises each consumer to do the math to see if it pays off, using the simulator available on the Finance Portal.
“Certify disability”
As JN advises, if a taxpayer or a family member had a problem that could lead to a multipurpose certificate with a disability above 60% has many associated advantages. One of them is a more favorable IRS regime.
“In this case, Magda Canas advises talk to a doctor later this year“so that this certificate can be issued in 2024”.
